Why Are There Other Ingredients Included in Each Omni-Biotic Probiotic?

The freeze-dried powder of Omni-Biotic probiotics contains different prebiotic ingredients that serve as food for the beneficial bacteria. When the probiotic powder is dissolved in water prior to intake, the freeze-dried probiotic bacteria rehydrate and begin to consume these prebiotic nutrients. This makes them strong for their passage through the digestive tract, and ensures high probiotic survival rates into the gut. If you extend the activation time of Omni-Biotic to up to 20 minutes, the probiotic bacteria metabolize the majority of these prebiotics, so that very little remains in the probiotic mixture.

How Many Servings Are In One Box Of Omni-Biotic AB 10 Kids?

One box of Omni-Biotic AB 10 Kids includes 30 servings. This probiotic is shelf stable through the expiration date at room temperature.

How Should My Child Best Take Omni-Biotic AB 10 Kids?

Infants & toddlers (up to 3 years): Take 1 sachet twice daily during antibiotic use. After completing antibiotics, continue with 1 sachet daily for 10-14 days. Children (ages 3-6): Take 1-2 sachets twice daily during antibiotic use. After completing antibiotics, continue with 1 sachet once or twice daily for 10-14 days. Omni-Biotic AB 10 Kids can also be taken once daily for ongoing digestive support. 1. Stir one sachet of Omni-Biotic AB 10 Kids in approximately 4 ounces/125 mL of room temperature water or other non-acidic liquid (dairy and dairy alternative milk or yoghurt, apple juice). 2. Wait 1 minute for probiotic activation. 3. Stir again and let your child enjoy! If taking antibiotics, separate probiotic consumption from medication by 1 hour for best results. Omni-Biotic AB 10 Kids is best consumed on an empty stomach. This helps the probiotic bacteria move through the acidic environment of the stomach as quickly as possible, and they reach their destination in the intestines alive and metabolically active. Do not exceed daily recommended dose.

Yes, Omni-Biotic AB 10 Kids can be taken twice daily, especially during antibiotic intake. Toddlers (up to 3 years) continue with 1 sachet daily after antibiotic use. Children (3-6 years) continue with 1 sachet once or twice daily after antibiotic use. Do not exceed daily recommended dose.

How Do The Good Bacteria In Omni-Biotic Survive The Passage Through The Gastrointestinal Tract?

In order for a probiotic to be effective, the bacterial strains must reach the gut alive and active. This is why all probiotic bacteria in Omni-Biotic products are freeze-dried and embedded in a special powder formulation, which also includes prebiotic nutrients. Reactivating the probiotic powder in water prior to intake, ensures that 83% of the good bacteria reach the intestine alive and active. This is compared to only 7% in leading probiotic capsule brands.

Can I Mix Omni-Biotic Into Anything Other Than Water?

Due to the neutral pH value of water, it is optimally suited to activate the freeze-dried probiotic bacteria in Omni-Biotic to ensure maximum effectiveness. If you prefer, milk, yogurt, non-dairy alternatives, as well as herbal teas and apple juice are also well suited to dissolve Omni-Biotic. Please note, in general, the liquid in which you dissolve Omni-Biotic should be under 100 degrees Fahrenheit, non-acidic (i.e. avoid coffee and citrus juices), and non-carbonated.

How Long Should Omni-Biotic Stress Release Be Taken For?

The length that Omni-Biotic probiotic should be taken more so depends on your health status, needs and goals. As a general rule of thumb, you can think of it this way: for every year in which you experience digestive discomfort, gut issues and/or larger health challenges, take one month of a probiotic supplement. If you're experiencing gut issues for just a few weeks, then even a month of probiotics can make a big difference. It is perfectly safe and beneficial to your overall health to take Omni-Biotic for an extended period of time, because the probiotic bacterial strains contained in the products all naturally occur in the human body.

When Should Someone Feel The Benefits Of Omni-Biotic?

You likely will feel a positive effect on your digestion in the first few days of taking Omni-Biotic. The additional benefits on your overall health should become apparent in the first few weeks.

Does The Gut First Have To Get Used To Taking A New Probiotic?

In some cases, yes. Depending on the health of your gut flora, it may take your gut a few days to a few weeks to adjust and rebalance. Some first-time probiotic consumers experience intestinal discomfort in the first few days (e.g. mild diarrhea, bloating, gas). At Omni-Biotic, all Omni-Biotic products only contain strains of bacteria that cannot produce histamine themselves, so Omni-Biotic probiotics can be safely taken by individuals with a histamine sensitivity. All probiotic strains used in Omni-Biotic are strains that naturally occur in a healthy human intestine. They are deeply studied and characterized for their specific strengths. None are soil-based organisms. For individuals with environmental or food sensitivities, we recommend nonetheless to start slow with taking the product (e.g., only 1/4 or half a sachet) and work your way up to the full daily recommended dose over a period of 5-7 days. We suggest consulting with a healthcare provider before introducing any new supplement.

Can I Take Omni-Biotic With Other Supplements And/Or Medications?

Typically, Omni-Biotic can be taken with other supplements and/or medications. Omni-Biotic contains only strains of bacteria that naturally occur in the human intestines, and no chemical agents that can interact with other supplements or medications. It is, however, recommended to take Omni-Biotic probiotics at least one hour away from other supplements / medications. Is It Possible To Combine Two Omni-Biotic Probiotics?

Yes, you can easily take one Omni-Biotic in the morning and a different one in the evening. Please note that different Omni-Biotic products should not be dissolved in the same liquid at the same time, because each probiotic bacterial combination is exactly matched and supplemented with their special "food" in the form of a matrix.

Yes, all Omni-Biotic probiotics are safe for use when trying to conceive, during pregnancy, postpartum and while breastfeeding. We suggest consulting with a healthcare provider before introducing any new supplement.

Is Omni-Biotic Stress Release Safe for Children?

Omni-Biotic now provides an entire line of kids products to support children in building a strong foundation for gut health. For babies and young toddlers, Omni-Biotic Panda is our most gentle and effective option, specifically formulated for the earliest stages of life. For growing children, we also offer Omni-Biotic AB 10 Kids (for digestive balance and during/after antibiotic use) and Omni-Biotic Stress Release Kids (for gut-brain support). Both deliver the same clinically studied strains as our adult products, simply adjusted to an age-appropriate half dose to meet children's unique needs. In addition, many of our other Omni-Biotic formulations can be taken by children at half the adult dose. For children under the age of three (3) years, we recommend half of one sachet per day. Please note that we do not recommend Omni-Biotic Hetox for children under three (3) years of age, unless under doctor supervision. To make taking probiotics easy and enjoyable, you can dissolve the powder in infant formula, milk, yogurt, a dairy alternative, lukewarm soups, or apple juice. Avoid juices that are too acidic, such as orange juice, as these can negatively impact the probiotic bacteria.

Does taking Omni-Biotic probiotics interrupt intermittent fasting?

For most people, Omni-Biotic does not break your fast. In addition to the scientifically selected strains of good bacteria, Omni-Biotic contains small amounts of specific ingredients that serve as prebiotics - essentially, food for the good bacteria. These prebiotics are mostly metabolized by the bacteria during the rehydration process (when you dissolve the powder in water and wait before drinking). To support this process even further, you can extend the activation time to up to 20 minutes before consuming your probiotic. If you prefer to be extra cautious or notice any changes during your fasting window, you can also choose to take Omni-Biotic right before your first meal of the day (about 15 minutes before eating), which still supports optimal absorption.

How Should The Omni-Biotic Products Be Stored?

All Omni-Biotic probiotics are shelf-stable at room temperature. They should be stored in a cool and dry place, but do not need to be refrigerated.
