Omni-Biotic Cat & Dog contains the two probiotic strains that are classified by the The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) as a “zootechnical additive”, which confirms its safe use throughout the EU. 

Enterococcus faecium NCIMB 10415 is a probiotic strain essential for a balanced gut flora. It helps lower the intestinal pH, which helps beneficial bacteria thrive while keeping unwanted/pathogenic bacteria out. Research has shown that this specific strain is effective against intestinal pathogens including Escherichia coli (ETEC), salmonella, shigella and clostridia, and giardia. Placebo-controlled studies with this probiotic strain have clearly shown a significant reduction in diarrhea and a faster resolution of symptoms.

Lactobacillus acidophilus CECT 4529 is one of the most important commensal intestinal bacteria found in the natural intestinal flora of cats and dogs. It helps create a balanced intestinal flora, which helps beneficial bacteria to thrive, while keeping unwanted/pathogenic bacteria out. It also has shown in clinical studies to positively impact immune function.

How does my pet best take Omni-Biotic Cat & Dog?

Omni-Biotic Cat & Dog is suitable for cats and dogs of all ages and breeds. Mix the powder into their food (dry or wet) and, if necessary, add a little bit of water. The amount of powder depends on the cat or dogs’ weight, and can be calculated as follows: 

Animals up to 36 lbs: 1x daily ½ scoop (=1.25 Billion CFU)
Animals from 36 to 66 lbs: 1x daily 1 scoop (=2.5 Billion CFU)
Animals from 66 to 88 lbs: 1x daily 2 scoops (= 5 Billion CFU)
Animals over 88 lbs: 1x daily 2-3 scoops (= 5 to 7.5 Billion CFU)

Omni-Biotic Cat & Dog should be consumed by your pet within 30 minutes of mixing into the pet’s food. Please avoid placing Omni-Biotic Cat & Dog into a bowl of water or milk that will sit out throughout the day.
